From Tea Plantations to Berlin Streets

A story about place, people, and grit

Cities That Shaped Me

Kerala — Tea Plantations

Grew up around estates and chai. Learned humility, discipline, and grounded curiosity from everyday life.

Bangalore — First Tech Chapter

Moved at 17. Learned hustle, selling ideas, managing chaos, and loving conversations over circuits.

Dubai —

Where speed, standards, and global ambition sharpened how I communicate across cultures and deliver with clarity under pressure.

Berlin — Emotional Anchor

MBA, tech & AI work, cultural permission, and the energy that defines how I want to work.

Stuttgart / Baden-Württemberg

Grew up around estates and chai. Learned humility, discipline, and grounded curiosity from everyday life.

Basketball as Leadership School

Ive captained basketball teams to championships and coached younger players for years. On court, you learn very quickly who panics, who communicates, and who holds the team together when the scoreline isnt pretty.

Basketball taught me how to:

Communicate clearly under pressure

Motivate people who respond to different styles of feedback

Take responsibility for the outcome without making it about ego

Recover from mistakes fast and move on to the next play

A lot of how I lead in projects and sales conversations is rooted in those evenings on dusty courts reading the room, adjusting the play, and keeping the teams energy intact.

Why Grit Matters to Me

I dropped out of engineering when I realized I was pushing myself into a life that didnt feel like mine. Starting again wasnt glamorous it was uncomfortable, confusing, and slow

Since then, grit has meant:

Knocking on 1,000+ restaurant doors to build a client base from scratch.

Moving countries and rebuilding networks from zero.

Sitting with messy CRMs and broken processes until they became clean and usable

Staying kind and curious even when the job market is noisy and uncertain.

For me, grit is not just working hard its staying honest, staying human, and continuing to move forward even when the path is not perfectly marked.
